Requesting access to your online medical records

The NHS want to give people greater access to see their personal health information online. Currently the process to access your medical record online is to complete an application at reception if you are a new user.  If you already have access to System online to order medication you can request this further access electronically via your account by following this link – SystmOnline Login (  If you require further information on this, please contact our reception team. Please note at present we cannot provide online access to your full medical record, only detailed coded record which allows a patient to see test results, diagnosis, and vaccination history.

Your doctor (GP) may talk to you to discuss information before you are able to see some of your record, to make sure that having access is of benefit to you. There might be some sensitive information on your record, so you should talk to your doctor if you have any concerns.

Plans to extend the level of access available to patients is currently under review by NHS England and we expect a further update on this in January 2023.
